I hear that logic a lot from other dealers. But it is still BS! I will work on any vehicle that comes into my service department that has a legit warranty complaint, no matter how many dealers have worked on it. And by doing that and fixing the vehicle I usually gain a loyal customer without spending a dime of the dealerships advertising money. GM will pay dealer X to fix a leak and then pay me also! I am sure GM is not happy about paying twice, but they are always happy when a dealers actions help keep a customer loyal to them.
