Flexplate Bolts
Flexplate Bolts
I'm transferring the flexplate from the old engine to the new one.
I bought new bolts for attachment to the crank. They come with some compound on the threads.
Should I put Loctite on them? The factory service manual doesn't mention any threadlocker, only the torque and angle numbers.

That is loctite.
They way loctite works is that it fills the space between the threads, making the threads a tighter tolerance fit. That is why you are supposed to let it dry before installing the bolt.
