Fluid on trans. pan

Just got back from a 2k trip (Fl to Ky). While draining the engine oil I noticed a almost clear fluid/lubricant on the bottom of the trans. pan. It only took up about one square inch or so on the corner of the pan. This fluid appeared to maybe have come from what looked like a small silver bolt that's about an inch up on the side of the tranny.

Anyone else ever see any fluid on their pans, especially those new HHR owners? Mine only has 2,300 miles on it now.

Is there a vent that this maybe could have come from due to all the mountainous terrain we went through or from the non-stop driving we did?

Thanks in advance and I apologize if there are a bunch of threads like this one. I did a search but didn't find anything questioning something this specific.

When I got back from about a 8 hour trip, I noticed a couple of drips underneath my car.
I got underneath it and looked and there was a small amount of fluid pooled up on the transmission pan. I checked all the bolts on the pan and they all seemed tight. It hasn't done it since then...

I had a drive shaft seal on the transmission go out on mine. Look through the wheel well with a flashlight and see if you see any oil that has been thrown around where the drive shaft enters the transmission.

I checked that this morning and I couldn't see any leaks around the seal
