So, I'm driving along - and I get four long beeps. Nothing on the DIC, nothing in the ODBC codes. Just four long beeps. I stop, look around. All doors closed. Seat belt on. Nothing. So, I drive off. Happens again. Not short beeps - like you get from leaving the key in, much longer beeps. Any one got any ideas?

Is the rear hatch closed?
Is the hood closed?
Mine beeped two weeks ago , but the DIC showed Brake fluid

 

It's a 2009 2LT (4 door, 2.4 L, Auto trans). Nothing open, nothing ajar. Not horn beeps, Instrument panel beeps (The same as the one if you leave the key in the ignition).

 

Do you have anything heavy sitting on the passenger seat? I think I've had it beep at me over that before.

 

Yes! I did have something in the passenger seat. Not particularly heavy, but there. In the past, the passenger seat belt light has come on, but I guess if it was right on the hairy edge, maybe possible. At least an explanation. Thanks.

 

Once I was driving my Neon, when I heard a faint beeping. Looked at the cluster, I had left a turn signal on. Turned off the turn signal and it quit beeping. Only ever happened once.

If I'm running my GPS unit, it will beep when I enter a school zone. The app on the smartphone may do the same thing. Always surprises me, takes a bit before I realize what that beep was about.

 

Ok that dash warning beeps , could be the package on your passenger seat.
Does the air bag light on the waterfall light up
