My wipers will not work with the on/off bezel ring, but will work with the mist/washer fluid push button on the end of the multi-function lever. I am trying to determin if it is the switch, or the control board within the wiper motor assembly. I am using a "power probe 3" at the 4 wire connector at the wiper motor. Any help would be much appreciated.

Why not just jump the switch contacts?

There is no control board in the motor on the hhr. But the body controller controls the intermittent wipers.

There is also a low and a high wiper relay in the under hood fuse box.

The autozone web site has wiring diagrams for the hhr but only up to 08.
I doubt that changed much in the wiper system to 2011
