fuel line leak 2006 2.2

this is annoying - for some reason my post yesterday never posted. so trying again.

have developed a bad fuel leak off one of the two lines off the fuel pump

The leak started gradually over a week - where it became noticeable inside cabin and then to the point where half the gas was probably leaking out based on how fast the gauge dropped on the last fill up before grounding the car. I initially thought it was rusted fuel lines and looking forward to an easy fix by upgrading to ss lines. no such luck.

Replaced delphi fuel pump about 2 years ago. The leak seemed to be coming from the fuel pump area so i changed the gasket on the pump for a new one and put everything back together. the leak seemed to get worse. I will try to attach the video in a second post as I think that's why my post didn't show yesterday.

i lowered the tank again enough to get a probe camera in there - started car and it seems to be coming off either the feed or return line off the pump. When i had it down i inspected the plastic pump ports and they didn't appear to be damaged or cracked but i could be wrong. I put the lines back on making sure they clicked but maybe one or both are old and worn?

there doesn't seem to be direct replacement parts for the lines except for an entire kit for several hundred dollars - and i'm not sure those kits even include those lines, or do they? I'm no longer near any of the yards that have plenty of hhr's to pick from, but i may be making a trip over where they are. Are there any generic aftermarket options that are a good fix?

You could make a replacement fuel line , Dorman has a kit as does other companies

https://www.dormanproducts.com/p-27520-800-300.aspx

And just make a replacement for that piece from fuel pump to the pressure line that goes to the fuel injector rail

There is no "return" line. It is a vapor lines, no fuel in it.
If price is a problem consider plastic lines.
Your vid does not play for me. Seems like a leak point would be easy to see.

I uploaded as an mp3 but it would make me have to download it to watch.
is the fuel line the narrower line coming off the black port of the fuel pump?
i couldnt get the camera probe in there good enough to be able to see both lines easily

The vapour line connects to the EVAP canister above the rear axle.

your leak might be in that splice in the feed line above your fuel tank
