Glove Box Damper

I opened my glove box the other day and it fell open rather than slowly opening like it normally does. Pulled the box all the way open and noticed the back end of the damper just sitting there not attached to anything. Looked around but couldn't find any clip or stud. Looking at some of the pictures for replacing the cab filter shows it attaches to the pillar but cant see what it attaches to. Anyone have a picture?

Thanks,

JJ

Just took these pics for you, it just snaps to the glovebox itself, through the lower hole.

Really appreciate taking the time to snap those pics. Looks like the vertical piece with the pin sheered off of mine. Searched all over but could not find the pin or broken piece anywhere. Guess I'll have to figure out a new mount for the damper. =(

Things you never notice. After reading this I went out and opened the glove compartment. And never realized there was a damper for the door. Shows how much I use it.
