Will there be a differentiation on the case its self so I will know what I am buying? Will it matter or not that my car does not have ABS?

Our 2008 does not have traction control or any anti lock brakes. Just a plain Jane simple vehicle.

That doesn't mean it wasn't "limp mode", the T/C light (if you have T/C) is one of the other things that happens besides the hard shift and possible CEL

It did it again today, although not as bad, and finally through a code. P0011, camshaft sensor, which I read can/may cause a hard shifting experience. Hopefully that is the fix!

I have a P0011 also that I am working on. Don't have the hard shifting since it is a manual. But it is running rough. If that sensor goes, the timing is off. Search P0011 on this site and you will find a lot of people have run into the P0011 code. Some have changed the sensor to correct it and some have changed the camshaft actuator. I'm trying to figure out which to change first.

The Code was only on for a little while, just long enough for me to scan it. It is now gone. Car was running fine, however, while it was on. I am just glad that I at least have a direction to head now.

Some people have had success in getting rid of the p0011 by replacing the solenoid(s) - See posting at 05-16-2010, 01:41 PM : https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/how-tutorial-library-21/camshaft-position-actuator-solenoid-valve-replacement-w-pics-p0010-11-p0013-14-a-28779/

I wonder why the BWD replacements for those look NOTHING like the originals. The BWD parts don't even look like they will fit!
