These ones are glued though... i think im just going to remove them altogether...any suggestions on stuff for removing thay spongy glue stuff from the paint?

 

Got to agree with CH on this one. Looks like the door edge guard is coming off. It's attached to the door and wraps around to the inside. You can remove them and purchase an additional set at any auto parts store, or even Walmart, Target or K-Mart usually. To remove the adhesive, you should be able to use rubbing alcohol to get the goo off. I'll be happy to go out and take pictures of mine if anyone needs.
