Head Lights repair
I have an odd issue with my headlights that I can't figure out and hope that one of you know the answer to my question. I noticed that the driver side headlamp wasn't on driving to work a couple of days ago, so I figured that the bulb just burnt out. Then, yesterday I noticed that when I unlock my car (key-less entry) the headlight was back on. But as soon as I turn my engine one, the headlight turns back off. The high beam filament is still okay, so I thought that the low beam filament burnt out. However, with both headlights on when unlock the car, it doesn't make sense to me.
Should I just replace the bulb and hope that fixes the problem? or would it be a wiring problem?
Thanks

When you unlock the car, the high beam filament is used. You just need to replace the bulb. Youtube has a video specific to the HHR, the video however takes of the front bumper fascia. You can also go through the wheel well. Good luck and keep us posted.

Alright, yeah at first I doubted that it used the high beam filament, it doesn't seem as bright. I'm going to replace the bulb through the wheel well, I saw a video somewhere detailing that. It will be a good weekend job haha I might as well get both bulbs replaced too, just in case in a week from now the other one decides to go out :p
