Headlight Wiring Harness replacement help 07HHR

So I bought a new headlight wiring harness for my 2007 Chevy HHR. Can anyone help me with step by step replacement and also my harness has the female and male connector. Thanks in advance.

I’ve done a few J-body and F- body GM’s , never had to replace the harness on an HHR . When you say harness, you mean complete from fuse box to headlights and signals , horn and air bag impact sensor, with fog lights?

It looks like this. That’s what I explained at Napa and they looked up and this is what they gave me but for some odd reason it looks really short I don’t know though I read other how to’s and they talk about splicing and all that good stuff but I was looking for a helpful video or step by step.

That simply plugs into your headlight bulb and the other end into the existing harness, no splicing

What are you trying to accomplish?
Just a new connector to the bulb? NAPA has a "pigtail" (half of what you pictured) that you cut and splice in.

That plug n play harness might make it easier to change the bulb.

yeah that’s what I thought too. But upon looking underneath at it the wires go into the main area. So I think I need a pigtail one. Sorry for it being stupid. Single mom in a budget here trying to figure things out. Would take to garage but like I said I’m on a budget. Haha then I went to NAPA and explained it to them so they could help me and give me this. Smh oh well thanks though

We still don't know what the reason is. What is the problem?
