have finished repairing a 2008 that was hit in the front end,very little damage past the radiator.Replaced radiator and new condenser. Also had to replace the switch at the a/c compressor because a pin on the original switch got bent during the repair.Today I evacuated the system (it held vacumn fine)added an oil shot and started the charging process but the compressor clutch would not engage.Checked all fuses and found the 10 amp fuse in the underhood box was blown.Relaced but still no joy.
Checked voltage at the compressor switch and only found 4.99 volts with a digital voltmeter.A/C clutch diode in fusebox checked fine.Looking for any ideas as to why I havent got 12 volts at the compressor.thanks guys.

How about a relay......that could restrict voltage....
