You’re welcome, I’m old school, so businesses that have been in business that long are worth checking into.
Hope it’s something simple

But if someone doesn’t know how to use a multi meter then an automotive electrical specialist is then best way to go.

I would have at least got the free load test and charging system test. And inspected the cables and clamps.

Again, thankyou to Oldblue and everyone for saying to take my HHR to an electrical shop. Bad starter was bleeding the battery. And it needed a new alternator. I thought the moon roof motor was the issue, but no. The moon roof motor is completely out, but it's shut almost all the way, can barely tell it's open a smidge. To get the car really cherried out, I asked the mechanic to put in a new moon roof motor, but it turns out they don't make them anymore, and the one fella that had a used one couldn't vouch for it still being good. Now, will be getting her painted and looking as spiffy as she runs!! Will post a pic of our Mulrooneymobile after her paint job!! Take care!

That’s great you found the problem and got it fixed! Keep it clean and drive it often!!

It’s tested and confirmed to be working!

Yep, so long as he closes the sunroof before the rain or CarWash!
