there was a thread here that chevymgr posted on getting a whole new kit and how the dealer would charge it as warranty work.

Wow, this all sounds so familiar! Had all the same symptoms, took it in, the replaced the wastegate valve and all that, then it still did it again afterwards, checked under the hood to find a dirty rag and a braided steel hose from the intake to the turbo was not even connected, hooked it up and it ran fine, but then lost boost again, then yesterday it flat out died on me and took a few seconds to get it to restart, then it was idling like crap and sounded like it was going to die again! Heading to the dealer this morning, hopefully I can make it without it dying again!

Been there done that fixed the issue.... Take the butt splices out and solder them together and heat shrink them.

Told that to the dealer, got it back today could not duplicate problem. They said they spent some time on the phone with tech support and couldn't find anything wrong, test drove it 21mi, washed it and gave it back to me with absolutely 0 gas!

Like I have said in previous posts on this issue. Take the Butt Splices out of the stage 1 upgrade solder the wires and heat shrink it. I had the same issues, I had the same issue took that out soldered it and not another issue since then....

Soldering connections is not the only solution to boost problems. My connections are not soldered and i have had 0 problems.

JB Toronto SS just try what I said, trust me it worked for me and others here in Houston, Texas.... It wont hurt to try does it? It cleared up alot of my issues. Secret Services Auto here in Houston did it for me, Then I got JJblackss to go and it fixed his gremlin as well....Whats 30 minutes out of your day to try. I actually started getting better Turbo responce out of the vehicle as well.

Thanks. The car is at the dealer right now, and will be for a few more weeks due to the part being on back order .

I have told them about the wiring/soldering fix, but I'm going to trust their diagnosis of a faulty sensor for now and see if that works.

If not, I'm going to take it back to them and insist on your fix.

PM chevymgr, i believe he said that they just get a new kit and charge it to warranty, instead of just 1 sensor

One step ahead of you. Now, getting my dealer to take my advice instead of keeping me waiting for another two weeks is another story. :)
