Help Please

I was installing my amp and sub yesterday and apparently got my wires crossed. Now my radio will power on but no chimes and the radio will not play. I checked the radio fuse and a few other and they look ok. Went to start it up this morn to go to work and it wouldnt start. All the lights on the dash flashed and it wouldnt turn over. So i took the wifes car to work. She went out and tried to jump it and now the keys are stuck in the ignition. I have read on how to get the keys out of the ignition but I cant do anything now cause i am stuck at work. Any ideas on what the problem could be? Thanks

Sounds like you have a blown Maxi Fuse. They are located under the hood in the relay and fuse center near the master cylinder (a large black box). Take the cover off and look at the map on the bottom side of the cover find the one thats related to the problem your having. Check to see if it has blown. GM radios have 2 power sources one battery and one keyed sounds like you have blown the battery source. Hope this helps you out.
