Help with replacing vent

I own a 2007 Chevy HHR LS (automatic) I need to replace the passenger side air vent. I have the part but can't find any tutorials on how to replace it. You tube listed an actual air filter but that isn't what I need. I had someone as a passenger and she put her feet up on the dash and broke one of the little plates on the air vent. Can anyone give me fairly easy directions? My neighbor is going to be so kind to do it as well as replacing the driver side interior door handle. OH and does any one know if I have to take it to an actual auto repair place to fix the turn signal? It doesn't return anymore.

Thanks so much

Cindy (Foofsmom)
