My HHR (2008) has shut the motor off three times now ... restrs without a problem ... no cough or hesitation proir to "shut down " .. dealer said "I don't know .. no codes" , anyone else with this problem ?

 

Oddly enough, my SS did this today out of the blue. No other warnings or issues. Wife said the oil light came on. The car started right back up. My car has just 15k.

Fortunately, I have an appt at the dealership next week, so I'll be sure to ask. Curious to see if any others have experienced this.

Does your key chain have a lot of stuff hanging from it?

 

I read some where about making sure all your fuses in the engine compartment were set set. I guess they tend to come loose. I went out after reading that and pretty much all mine were loose so I just push them back down. Had to do it twice now once when I first read that post and a second while just checking them a few were loose. I dont know if that could be the issue but who knows just maybe worth checking.

 

Car in to dealer again ... stalling .. they found bullutin from cheve re:ground wire ... hope this fixes problem.
