Got mine in the mail last week-with instructions-do it your self warranty-simple thing better than going back to the dealer.

Recall

Today I received via USPS a recall center dash consol latch. As I had a "defective" one. Just a new bracket that just sticks over the stock console door latch. Easy fix and now the console door opens when pushing the button. The letter siad I could take the car to the dealer for the install or follow the pictures on the installation directions.

Did they just show up? Or do you have to request them?

When I got my HHR, I registered it online at:

http://gmownercenter.yahoo.com/portal/landingpage.php

I assume that is how GM knew I bought my HHR.

I hope this link works for you... as I am already registered and I just pasted and copied it above.

I hope this works for you.

I am glad to have seen the video and see I had the new version of this already so I will not be waiting for the recall kit that will never come.
