Got a flat this summer and I had the same problem with the driver's side front wheel. We had three guys pulling on the unbolted wheel and the thing would not come off.

Just keep trying/get more hands to help/use a rubber mallet as KissMy08SS said. It comes off eventually, you just gotta work it.

BFRM!( big freaking rubber mallet)

Once you get it off, it's best to clean off all the corrosion/rust/oxidation that held it stuck. Maybe coat that area with some antiseize or such.

You also might want to pull the other wheels and check them.

and while you have that off, if you have Brembos I would highly recommend pulling the pins and coating them too if they still come out.

X 2, it is the hub snout & rim center where corrosion crud has seized the rim on, & will need cleaned most. Once this is cleaned up & lightly coated w/Anti-Seize, or any hi-temp grease, this should no longer be an issue.

It's because we have hub-centric rims..

loosen lug nuts a couple of threads and rock car back and forth, that will usually loosen the rim.

same happened with my '84 Firebird, I did the same as Jerry455 suggests and it worked, then clen and lube I used never seize copper lube, never had the issue again, now the first thing I do when I get a new car with Aluminium wheels I clean and never seize the wheels worth the time and effort for those road side tire changes

I'd vote for that method over beating the tire with a BFH.

Our wheel hub-bearings are not as tough as the old tapered Timkens..
