Did you just throw a starter on hoping that was the problem ?
I don't see any mention of diagnostic testing. (i.e.) bench test the old starter- load test the battery-voltage test at starter connections.
Fwiw. Saying the "battery life is in good health" means nothing.

I did on another thread yesterday. I had tested the alternator and battery before it broke down. However AutoZone stupidity said my starter was good w my car running and they hooked up to the battery. I ain't gonna do business with you them. Clearly they have no idea what they talking about

So the starter was never bench tested. That should have happened before you purchased the new one.

But you still have not answered any of the other questions as to what you are referring to.

My battery is draining fast

I just replaced my starter and battery, and I got a battery at Walmart and the next day it died. Today I went to AutoZone, got a new battery and drove maybe 6 hours and my "check charging system" light came on and went straight to battery saver mode. Now it's dead again. Any ideas of what this could be? Any advice or help is great!

So, after abandoning your other thread which details the start of your problems, you open a fresh new one, even though you had not replied to the questions raised in that thread?

Could be the charging system... Just a thought.

Yes the alternator is most likely toast!

Grab the terminals that are attach to your battery and see if you can twist them. They should be so tight that you can not twist them around the battery post. Anytime you have a charging problem, always check battery terminals first. HHR battery terminals are absolute junk, the little retainer bar always breaks.
