Hood bracket ball broken



Im not sure whay to call this part but I replaced my hood struts and the ball broke on this one, does anyone know where I can find a replacement part.

Drill out the old broken ball stud. They make a replacement stud that bolts into the hole.

I drilled out and replaced a couple on my HHRs. They were all on the hatch struts.

I don't know about the hood struts, but the hatch struts have a different size ball at each end. Make sure you measure the right ball diameter. I threaded the hole for the stud, or you can use a nut.

The bracket is listed as obsolete.
