My mistake on the terminology. I know it's the heater, not the entire sensor. However I suppose since the heater not working is enough to throw a code, it essentially means the whole sensor isn't up to standards, yeah? Anyway, you're right though.

I should get a reader eventually, and I probably will. I'm slowly learning car stuff with this, and the farther I go, the more things become nice to have.

You can get a "ELM327" OBD2 interface that will talk to your smart phone for under $20.

Great news! Be safe on your trip tomorrow.

To add to the ELM unit, just make sure that you have a compatible device. Some Iphones will prevent use. Anything Android and your are good to go.
