How to remove "beauty bar" (rear hatch opener)

I don't want to break anything...

I have removed two screws.
Are there clips behind?
Or is it just stuck on with weather sealer and I need some way of carefully peeling it away? Where is the best place and method to pry it off without damaging anything?

thanks

Hmmm, not clear from that if nut 34 matches torx screw 17,
Is the nut additional and inside the hatch panel? (Meaning I have to take the inside panel off, which I haven't been successful with yet as the plugs are so far from the edge)

17 appears to be something else. 34 attaches to the stud on the beauty bar.

Yes, remove inside panel to get to the mounting nuts.

Just to say thanks... rear trim panel is now off (found good instructions in another old thread).
Took a bit of bravery, some strength, and a lot of swearing but I'm really surprised nothing broke.

So now I can see both sides... I've decided I don't need to take off the beauty bar.

I take mine off once a year in the spring to wash and clean the debris built up over the fall and winter salt and sand get between the beauty bar and the paint and the causes rust eventually.
