They found low compression in one cyl. I never found water ini the oil when I changed it. But everyone remembers that I have had a pinging noise even at low boost for a long time and even when I ONLY had the Stage kit. I've had more problems with the stage kit and mostly pinging.

Just to let everyone know, Im going to put it back to semi stock. I'll be selling the other stuff.

The head problems are the steel valve seats in an aluminum thread are leaking compression by them. A new head fixes this.

I'm wondering if that lower compression caused the pinging. Must have been a problem for a while. Anyways im going back to almost stock just to save hardaches and will find some 91-93 Mustang GT to work on. :)

Ok I'm getting the car back tomorrow because they don't want to warranty the problem. They blame the aftermarket intercooler for all the problems. Lol. I'm going back to stock all mods and then take it somewhere else. I argued with the service advisor and manager. First they warrantied the work last saturday and 2 days later they don't want to even though before they started the work, the service advisor said it will be warrantied. I explanned that to the service manager and he said " ooooppps our bad" WTF? Oppps? Oooops one of your guys screwed up and so you better honor his obligation. Oooooops I stomped your ass in the dirt too. Anyways I was a nice guy but he should have said they didn't want to touch it and just give it back to me.

If the Sevice guy would have said that they wouldn't cover it because of the mods "that he knew about when he called me before this" I would have just picked up the car. He said that it was covered under warranty work even after he called me about the "Intercooler". I mean hell, If they wanted to meet in the middle with me given back all of the stuff, I would have and I would have paid for them to install the original stuff.

but for a Service Manage to say "oooops our bad" isn't an answer and seems like someone should be taking a bite. Well they were calling the District rep and I haven't heard from them since... 2 lessons learned

From reading stories here it almost sounds like GM has turned on the 'NO MORE WARRANTIES" sign...
