Now that I have opened my eyes and read your signature, I'm not to sure why you have a loss of compression. We have never seen the valve seat/head problem in a 2.0L.

Well I just decided to go to the dealer in my uniform and talk directly with the Service Manager. We went to look at the car and seems that there were some service bulletin work ie: Cracked Turbo Housing, just like in the picture so I presented that one. There was how ever some scoring in a couple of the cylinder walls which to me does look like it got hot. Ever since the Stage Kit, I had pinging issue and I figured it was a fuel problem so I guess it was probably getting hot and made it ping.

I was also talking to the mechanic who was very cool and we did our mechanic guy talk. Seems the best idea is to put the car back to stock even the Stage Kit. They will be putting my car back together by next week or so.

So I'm going to be selling all my stuff at dirt cheap if anyone wants it. Stage Kit will be for $50 once I remove the sensors and install my old ones. I'll let you all know. Piping and all the goodies will also be sold cheap. Everything for under $300.00. I will post up when it's complete.

Hmmm...but you never found the 'source' of the problem, not likely it was the kit that did it...surprises me that if you had that much pinging going on you didn;t raise that flag alot sooner instead of waiting for something to go wrong....could it be they never loaded the correct flash into it after the mod? Still, if you were hearing it the electronics were not operating correctly, as they knock it back long before you'll ever hear it.........the scoring wasn't from heat..it was from the pistons being forced into the walls...loss of compression, how about a cracked ring land from alll the pinging
