Check the connector on the transmission cable for oil saturation.
Check the connectors on the TCM and the ECM for bent or dislocated pins.
P0700 only tells us that the TCM asked the CEL to light up.
P0300 means there is something going on in the igniting of fuel.

Did they tell you why they stopped diagnostics?

You need a new t-stat get a ACDelco 131-158 ONLY. That is the expensive one but worth it.
I wonder why they don't mention the O2 sensor.
You might try tightening the bolts holding the underhood fuse box together.
Check the lug where the large red cable attaches to the under hood fuse box.
Check that the ignition recall was done. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/gm-r...-status-50716/
Check that all fuses and relays are seated in both fuse boxes.

x2 what Donbrew says.

FYI: That P0128 related to the thermostat, will be intermittent until the thermostat is replaced, and will likely cause the transmission to shift hard/abruptly. And absolutely use the ACDELCO 131-158 as a replacement as Don states.

X2 what Whopper said, and 3 for DonBrew.
The P0128 is triggering other codes, I recommend keeping it simple
replace the thermostat and the Dexcool, burp the system for a couple of days .
Betcha won’t have the other codes. If you have a drain pan , jack, 2 jack stands and a 10 mm wrench , you can do this!
