Now that sounds like a crappy job. You find a flaw and fix it - people think you did a half-ass job building the car. You don't notice a flaw - people think you did a half-ass job! I guess the pay/benefits might be worth it. Just tell everyone you help build the LS7 if they ask, though!

 

They don't use "fingernail" touch-up at the plant. It's resprayed if they have to do it, and most of the time it's the guys who've been around a while and painted a couple hundred thousand cars in final process who are doing it.

My bet is still on the dealer.
