Disconnect the negative cable at the battery, reduce the possibility of things going wrong

 

What does ABS have to do with the instrument panel or the speedo? Other than the warning lights? Just wondering how that could be a possibility.
The shop manual says the VIN must be matched with a new cluster. Just going by that.

Does the horn work? I'm looking at a possible broken clockspring.

 

if u have a crazy speedo gauge and crazy dic lighting up with all kinds of codes u are gona have a bad abs brain

I still don't know How a bad ABS "brain" causes those problems. If I knew the logic , It would help me help people.

Maybe because an interruption in the CANbus? But then why blame that one module for all like problems? There are codes associated with CANbus errors, I would think they would show up.

 

no prob i won't post any of the probs we have had or fixed by owning so many hhrs or offer are info from really doing the work not just looking online , so easy to be a qtr back but very different when u play ball nice u censor me but don gets away with what he wants and posts what he wants , and calls me a know it ALL , that I'm not just a old man with years of building cars and owning hhrs from 05 don could not get himself out of a wet bad , book smart is not street smart , good luck to u all dave
