Question Interior water leak/no a/c

Hello Everyone! I am so grateful to have found this forum. As much as I love my HHR, they do have some kinks. I own a 2006. Most significantly, I have had a pretty major leak into the driver's side floor. I tried using silicone adhesive on the butyl patch, but it didn't work. A few days ago, my A/C stopped blowing cold air. I had noticed a "growling" sort of noise prior. I don't have a lot of money for repairs, so If anyone can give me suggestions I would appreciate it.

On drivers side, I don't think it is the butyl patch. Do you have a sun roof drain hose, if not rubber boot from door to body.Has windshield been replaced? anyone want to add to list.

I don't have a sunroof. The water collects at the front of the floorboard beneath pedals if that makes a difference.

You and a helper will have to resort to the "garden hose and looksee" method. Since the car is 6 years old, you could have a deteriorated gasket or seal. Just a matter of tracing down the bad spot.
