Intermediate shaft bolt

I knew that my intermediate shaft needed to be replaced to get rid of the rattle but I also had some loose steering. My research led me to the intermediate shaft didn't effect the steering so thought I had it narrowed down to the tie rods. After removing the tie rod end from the steering knuckle it seemed pretty solid, both outer and inner. Started looking around and noticed the the bolt to the intermediate shaft has sheered off halfway. If I order a new shaft will it come with the bolt? P.S. this probably happened when I slid into a curb when icy.

yes the threads stick out on the other side. I was thinking I wouldn't have to remove it and just replace the whole shaft and use the new bolts. It broke past the "split" so when viewing it you cannot see the bolt in the slit, only on that one side so it shouldn't be too much trouble to remove. I didn't think about turning it for a better picture

So long as the remnants of the bolt aren’t blocking the notch on the steering rack input shaft, then yes you should be able to drive it up with a punch or chisel
