I have an 08 SS and my intermediate steering link is making noise. Have you had an issue with yours. I have 65000 miles on mine.

what kind of noise? lot of us have experienced "clunking" noises which can be a number of things including, the column, intermediate shaft, tie rods, ball joints etc.

 

SS may be different, but the intermediate shaft is actually U joint. They can click, not a big deal usually.

I think more likely you should check your sway bar bushings and links.
