Intermittent clicking

Hey all. I'm having an issue with my turn signals. Sometimes I hear the normal ticking sound during operation of the turn signals, sometimes I don't.
The signals operate normally even when quiet. Is this something I should be concerned with? Has anyone else experienced this?

Your driver side door speaker is failing.

The driver side door speaker is what makes the chime you hear say if a door is left open, or seatbelt not on, etc. or the "tick tock" when the blinker is activated.

The clicking is produced by the radio to the driver side door speaker.

I'll except your explanation and will look at replacing the door speakers. My HHR is 11 years old and an original Az car
