Anyone have their engine cut out while driving---first the dash says engine power reduced then goes to engine disengaged. Did a scan and it said internal computer module. Anyone know what thats gonna run?

 

What was the code? Ie: P1224

 

Well if the ECM has failed you're looking at somewhere between $350-400 for a new one, or around $100 for a used one, plus diagnostics and labor unless you do the work yourself.

What codes are showing up? Also check the underhood fuse box, make sure all the fuses and relays are firmly seated in their respective sockets, plus check the fuse box itself to make sure it isn't loose.
