First of all let me give credit to Sno White, he put me on to this. My fob quit working but it was not broke solder joints. The contact buttons that make contact with the circuit board have a contact film that wears out, you cannot see this film. Found a company, MCM Electronics- 1-800-543-4330.
I ordered a "Rubber Keypad Repair Kit" part #20-3890, cost me $23.09 including shipping. Repainted the contact buttons on both of my fobs-now working great again. My dealer wanted $140 for the fob and $40 for reprogramming. First sign of contacts going bad is that you have to hold the button down longer than usual. Hopes this helps anyone in need.
