Key FOB question

Some cars don't have a key, it is the fob that turns the vehicle "on". You have a key to do this.

I suggest that you also get a "Genuine GM" fob. The programmer can be used about 5 times on any brand fob. Some noname fobs don't work right. The Dorman sometimes has the bad ones.

I agree, get a GM fob, keep the dorman fob as backup. The Dorman fob may cause a "low fob batt" message in the DIC.

You get 3 sessions before the programmer is no good.

Got the new fob and programmer from Amazon yesterday. Had it working in 5 mins. Now I have remote start and locks. So glad I got the information from you guys, I never new this kit existed.
