Unhappy Leaking Rain Water Inside

when it rains I have water leak/drip out of the front & back panels where the seatbelt goes inside- passenger side... I have roof racks and am wondering if they could be the problem.. I know prob without someone actually seeing the car, its hard to say... I just dont have anyone to look at it for me... and wondered if anyone could tell me what I could use to seal around the racks.. thank you for any suggestions..

Try a quality Silicone Seal - use it sparingly, and don't just put it AROUND the racks - you need to apply it UNDER the rack mounts to clean surfaces.

I have this problem still

There is a danger for the safety belt.
My experience:
rainwater soaked belt downstairs in the area of locking mechanism of the belt.
This mechanism contains a glass ball that captures the belt during heavy braking. As a wedge .
My ball gets wet and belt jammed. Two days of drying did not lead to positive results. I had to disassemble the whole mechanism of the belt to dry and remove moisture of the ball by napkin .
I have asked this dealer - insulting waste of money.
Furthermore, talipomanus "specialist" broke the yellow connector . Another minus $ 43 .
A lot of frustration because of negligible moisture.
