Light problem?

My turn signal lamp on the right front stays on, the blinker works fine and both daylight running lights do not work. The lights work if turned on. The bulb looks fine on the blinker? Any ideas?

I don't understand, what is different now than it used to be? What happened between? What about the rear lights? Have you looked at fuses and relays?

If your next question is "where are the fuses and relays" look in your Owner Manual; if you don't have one click on the link in my sig. If that does not help you should seek a mechanic.

Just bought it so cant answer before....I know where the fuse box is. I guess I need to study an electrical diagram. I thought some one might have experienced this before and could save me some reading/sleeping/reading time.

That clunks, rattles, knocks thread is great just about covers it except..chirping.

Now you made me go out and check mine. I don't have the problem of the turn signal lamp being on all the time. My DRLs do not work at all, tho. I swapped out the 10a fuse with the one for the AC. The AC still works, the DRLs still do not work, so it is not the fuse. Both high beams and low beams function properly, so it is not the bulbs. All the exterior lights are on while running in the garage, then when I pull out into the light, they all go off.

Is yours a 2009 that's in your profile? If you have an auto trans, the DRLs will not come on while in Park.

I haven't ever payed any attention to the DRLs before.

EDIT: What the owners manual does not tell you is that, with a manual trans, the DRLs turn off when the parking brake is applied. Mine do work.

This one is an 06 2lt auto. The PO removed the fog lights so I am thinking they are related. This is sounding like a weekend project. Thanks for the Ideas and info.

Ok, so same rules with regard to Park. Difference is your DRLs are the amber turn signal bulbs. You probably knew this already.

Hmm. On the 06's, the DRL's are the turn signal amber bulbs. Not the headlights.
From the description in post #1, I would say it's working correctly.

Chirping means your front brake pads are worn out.

Why would you need a wiring diagram to look at fuses, that is in the Owner Manual.
In fact, I think all your questions would be answered in it.

Yeah X3 on the DRL being the turn signal lamps... I personally prefer the look of the DRL on the 06 compared to other years.

Correct, the bulbs are the DRL on this year.......Da.....got that part figured now the left turn signal does not work, the bulb is good has power to the socket but nothing when switch is on, so my next guess is the switch is bad or BLM. I am going to buy the switch this weekend unless I get some new ideas from you guys. Thanks!

I like this light style also. Never cared for using the headlights. I pulled the bulbs on my GMC. My other truck, just stuck with them on all the time.

Chirping from the back could also be the dozen crickets for the Spider!!
