Loose steering Column

I thought I'd check with any members concerning a possible fix for my problem. I have a 2006 LT. Have had several steering Columns and shafts replaced over the years. My latest issue is the part of the steering column directly behind the steering wheel is loose and moves from side to side when I use the turn signal lever or the wiper lever. I checked the three small bolts on the underside and they were tight. Also the cowl is loose regardless of any height position I adjust the steering wheel. Any way of snugging up this section of the column? Any response appreciated

I can't say I have ever looked under the trim covers but I would remove the covers and try to see whats moving. you may find bolt that can be tightened.
