Lost key

Lost key Change ignotion cylinder lockpad on ...i did the 30 min rset for key... Only on for 3 sec and will die. ..what else can i try?? Thanks

Did you use the old key . Did you change the PK3 sensor? Exactly what did you do.

We don't charge by the word, feel free to use them.

It wont stay on

[My 2008 hhr

I ca he tje ignition cylinder only cylinder came w a key. Got both ar junk. Yard
I did tje d the 30 min key reset.. It work.. It starts buy it doesnt stay on. It dies .

I got it scanned amd no codes come on.

What can i do please. Desperate to get my car moving. Car its been sitting for a month... I cant work and im going stuck

Why didn't you just go to a GM dealer parts department and get a new key cut to your VIN? Some locksmiths can do it.

This is the warning that comes with the 30 minute procedure:



#1 is the PK3 module, otherwise known as the theft deterrent module (TDM).

I did not replace the tdm i realize i mess up with the 30 min thing.. In regards to the data and response thing i might of f..t up there.. What do i do now?

I would go to a GM dealer with my registration and ID in hand and get a key made from the VIN. Then put everything back to where it was before you replaced the cylinder. Then do the 30 minute thing.
Last time I checked they only charged about $25, that was a long time ago, though.
