Lug nuts wont come off???

Some son of a donkey super glued the lug nuts on the back right wheel... I tried a broom stick pole and SNAP like a twig.. I put some hot steam on them using my neddy pot for my allergies... It worked on 1 and the nut came off... Any ideas?

If it is really super glue try ACETONE. Easily found in fingernail polish remover.

I've used my 19mm deep socket and 24 inch breaker bar, the my jack handle over the bar for some extra leverage. Be careful you could break a stud or more.

Super glue ? I doubt it. Most likely some tire jockey at your local repair place.
They tend to get all "Superman" when using an impact gun.

Tire places should use a 4-way to install lug nuts. It's ok to break them loose with an impact wrench, but customers of either sex might be stuck by some road trying to change a flat.
Over torquing them makes roadside changes a nightmare. Pet peeve of mine.
I don't care for the way they start the nuts by cramming them against the studs and pulling the trigger, then proceed to run them all the way in without crisscrossing for an even seating of the rim against the hub.
I had to show the 'tech' at one place how to use his own bead expander once.
It's a mess out there. I know one local place now that does a good job, they'll get all my business.

I thread the lug nut on by hand until finger tight, then use a torque wrench set to the proper foot lbs (100 for HHR ) and tighten the 12 o'clock then 5 o'clock then 10 o'clock then 2 o'clock just until the torque wrench clicks.
I recheck the torque after 100 miles

This just came to me, I have never tried it. Can you use the jack to push up on your wrench, and break the nut loose? You would have to be careful that the jack doesn't slip out from under the wrench.

I've had to stand on the wrench a couple times.
Weighing in at a svelte 250, that generally gets em loose.

My brother tried the stand on the wrench trick, the stud snapped, he fell hard into the windshield, cracked it and his noggin' put his knee into the fender , leaving a dent.
My Dad said he left a bad impression on his car, oh yea he lost a tooth!
