I am going to replace a driveshaft on my 2006 HHR 1LT 2.4L with the manual trans.

I know that some fluid will come out when I pull the shaft out of the trans.

I'm at work now and don't have my service manual here. I need to get the fluid on the way home so I can do the repair tonight.

Searching the forum shows some posts from 2015 saying to use only the GM stuff.

What the latest on fluid for the manual trans? Mobil1 ATF? Napa brands?

You shouldn't lose much. The recommendation is Dexron VI don't care about brand. See your Owner Manual. May have come from the factory with Dexron iii. Yes ATF in a standard.
