What would be the best way to verify valve health outside of removing the head?

A) compression test
B) a camera

A boroscope camera works well, inserted into the spark plug holes to look at the top of tge piston for crescent moon marks indicating the valves have struck the piston.

Cylinder leak down test would also show a valve issue.

Thank you all for this advice! I've ordered a scope and leak down tester! I will report back with an update once I've completed these tests and had the CPS relearn process programmed!
