motor mounts

2011 HHR - less than 5000 miles. 3 times after coming to a stop I felt intense vibrations coming thru the steering wheel. I opened the hood and the engine was vibrating furiously. Took to dealer - they could not find anything. About a week ago I noticed some kind of lubricant under the car. I took to dealer - said it was a bad seal where transaxle cooler pipes connect to the transmission. I asked if the engine vibrations could have caused this - they said no. After I got the work order, I noticed they replaced the transaxle cooler pipes. I believe the vibrations caused this problem. The next time this happens I will place a container of liquid on top of the engine and video the effects of these furious vibrations. I will also use it to prepare a case if I am forced to resort to a LemonLaw case. I believe it's a faulty motor mount - I will want them to replace all 4 mounts as the damage caused by these furious vibrations will surely be causing collateral damage.

You have furious engine vibration and there is no check engine light or warnings showing in the DIC? That is truly hard to believe....

Yeah with vibration like you are describing, I would suspect a misfiring cylinder.

That's a pretty ridiculous comment.
