Yeah,please throw up some pics when you can. I haven't been inside one of these engines yet and would like to take a look. Honestly, the word reluctor is a new one for me.Would like to see a picture, so I can get my "mechanical bearings" on this.

I ordered the camshafts today. $200 each from the dealer. I won't get them for a few days because they are only stocked in Lansing Michigan.

Just finished installing the new cams. Checked the reluctors and they are off by about the same amount as the old ones. :-(

Did you get a chance to check the timing mark on the lower chain sprocket?

I did not check the crank sprocket timing mark (that takes an additional 6.5hrs). I held up the chain with the special tools while I pulled the phasers and the camshafts out.
At this point cam timing seems to be irrevelent. The cam lobe to reluctor relationship is off.
I am going to button up the engine tomorrow and see how it runs.

After reassembly it runs the same with the same codes.

843DE - what say you laddie? What are the chances the ones fresh from the factory would also be off as well?
