It really is. But at least you are getting it quicker. Glad that worked out for you!

Ok, so check this out. My dealer just called and the bumper mysteriously showed up this morning. Go figure.

Two to three days is the normal time now to get fascias. Our main warehouse in Metro Detroit for those is plant #87 in Ypsilanti. You'd think it would be quicker since it's local, but it's not.
GMdealerguy, don't you just love RIM?And don't feel bad.GM moved our pdc from Willow Run to Cincinnati. So when we order a part that's stocked, for example, in Drayton Plains(about 45 minutes from our store) it goes down to Cincinnati, then back up here where it's routed to our dealership. It's policies like that that show why GM's gone into the crapper.
WR,what I can't fathom is why your dealer said the order couldn't be tracked.GM TRACS has that info a phone call away.

I'm glad this was resolved. But I think it was the freight company that was the problem. Here is a message from GM today.

To: Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, HUMMER and Pontiac (including MD)

On March 9, 2009, Action Freight Services ceased operations. Currently, GMSPO is accessing the status of shipments tendered to Action Freight. We don't have an immediate alternative to Action Freight but are working to quickly find a solution. We will provide an update via GlobalConnect Messages once we determine the alternative to Action Freight.

Please do not reorder if you have a shipment that you have not received.

We appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this issue and get your material delivered.
