Need help finding a part

I recently had the engine replaced and the mechanics say they messed up the fuel line section that hooks to the rail. Now they say they cannot find a replacement part even through the local dealership. What should I do?

I was under the impression that most dealer have a kit to make up fuel fittings so that the whole line would not have to be replaced?

The dealerships repair there own work! Sounds like the work wasn't done at the dealership !

Unhappy Update to my hhr nightmare!!!

The shop here in Louisville ky. Has now replaced engine, fuel line, alternator, starter, electric steering motor, steering control module, and now it is back in shop or should I say still in shop for a new body control module. What would anyone like to place bets on what they think will happen next. I would almost pay someone just to let me know what and when next problem will be! Not lol.
Got hhr back from engine replacement, immediately no power steering. Come to find out that if you jump the car from the fuse box poles under the hood, it fries the stuff.drove it anyway cause it took them 8 weeks with my car before I got it back , only for it to stall and electrical probs start going down the hwy.then wouldn't start. Shop had it for another six weeks saying that they found a crack in the fuel line And that was their responsibility to fix. so that 8 weeks replaced fuel line, alternator, starter. Pick up car drove 3 miles and stopped for gas and wouldn't start.back to shop, they replaced electric steering module, fuses and then told me it was a short somewhere. Then replaced the steering module, and finally they now are replacing the body control module. This Is week three and still not ready. Am I insane for believing all this? how much could be contributed to the original engine replacement job. Somebody help!!!

Arrow Sorry to ramble on!

Sorry about venting! Have really had tough time with my hhr lately! Literally had car out of shop a total of three days in four and a half months. Starting to think I getting ripped off by the mechanics. Name withheld for the fact they are still working with my car and am worried that might create more problems. Anyone ever had this dilemma? Thanks for the previous advice! Have a great weekend.
