Of course not! Hand-wiped the TB and MAF sensor with a dry rag. Didn't fix the problem though.

I'm getting codes for high voltage from the throttle wire, possibly. Every time I take out the TPS wire, the car is able to start and drive, but when plugged back in, it endlessly cranks to no avail for about 10 seconds, and leads to the ENGINE DISABLED message. ?

Hand wiped the MAF could have damaged the MAF they are fragile and if you moved the TB butterfly plate whilst wiping it the gears in the TB might be stripped.

X2 on Oldblues comment.

Never touch the element in a Maf sensor. Only clean it with a Maf approved cleaner and let it air dry before reinstalling.
