New ECM troubles...
The electronics in the TB are a bit complicated. That could be it, shorting something.
I could get the connector pinouts if needed. But, note the colors and pins are different here.

Excellent point, this is making a lot of sense. LSJ TB is from "Cobalt SS LSJ Supercharger kit 2004 to 2007 Ecotec Redline 2.0 2.2 2.4" compatibility. I can go tomorrow to get a part or serial number if needed.
I've been looking around a bit. Seems 2007 HHR 2.4L is the same 8 pin connector as a 2007 Cobalt SS 2.0L. The 2.2L HHR is 6 pin.
There wasn't a Cobalt in 2004, Who would want to SC a Cavalier?

That's helpful. I've seen people to do weird things to cavaliers lol
So we removed the IC pump wire completely just to be sure it's not shorting something, replaced the ecm and tcm with another stock and flashed just to eliminate that, and still nothing. I'll try another throttle body.
I do have an LSJ throttle body which is different wiring from the stock 2.4lt. ZZP sent an LE5 TB to LSJ TB 8 pin adapter so it seems that's good.
If it's not the TB being bad I'm out of ideas.

The adapter. That's why I went to the trouble of posting the pin assignments. You might look at the wires and make sure they go to the correct pins on the TB.
The connectors are the same, the pinouts are different.

I wan't using my brain apparently, of course I know what you mean now. I'll check the adapter pins tomorrow to make sure. Again, thanks for the help I appreciate it!
