Noise with a tiny vibration starts only when reaching 40+ miles per hour

I have been trying to pinpoint a noise with out much success. It seems to come from transmission. Noise with a tiny vibration starts only when reaching 40+ miles per hour and can be barely felt on the gas pedal . I have checked tires and bearings, lower arms etc and all good there. Car drives /pulls without issues, 95k miles on it and well kept.
Anyone had experience with this and find what may cause it ?
Thanks

x2 what oldblue says - plus it can be a number of things: out of balance tire, broken belt internally in tire, tire mis-molded, engine mounts, and the list goes on.

Always helpful gents and is much appreciated.
I forgot to mention something essential. The noise started after I have been hit in the rear passenger driver side door and with a minor bent in the frame....by a lady that was probably on the phone and not paying attention. I believe the engine / trans mounts may have been affected. Meantime door and frame been replaced. Welcome to DC :)
The car was nice and quite before this, I have attached couple of pictures from the accident.

"Frame replaced"? There is no frame, unless you are referring to the whole door and it's frame. .

It doesn't look like the accident hit the rear wheel at all, and that the damage is only to the doors. I wouldn't expect that the accident would affect the engine or transmission mounts - but hey, I've been wrong before.

Ahh, thanks for the clarification. It sounds like the vibration is pretty minor - any chance it was there beforehand but had never been noticed? ie: a little more aware after the accident?

Thanks whopper,
I really know my car, been putting a bit of sweat and tear on it :)
Nice and smooth / quiet before the accident !
I'll try to take a video / sound of it and post, not sure how will help describing it more ....

Did the car get pushed sideways into a curb on the passenger side when it was hit? At this point we don't know if it was parked or being driven when the accident occured...
