Not starting
One more question, after taking it on a test drive I noticed the steering wheel is slightly ****ed to the right as if starting to make a right hand turn. I disconnected the steering shaft from the rack but I think there is only one way it goes back on. Plus the fact that I marked the shaft before I took it apart. The only other thing I can think of is the transmission mount that bolts to the driver side inner fender has lot of room for movement if it's not bolted exactly the way I unbolted it would that throw off the steering? And or take the vehicle out of front end alignment? Thanks in advance
My guess is you moved the wheels when you removed or replaced the axles.
Either redoing the intermedite shaft connection or an alignment should fix it. DON'T take the steering wheel off and reset it.

Why are there such big holes in the transmission mount? It looks like they would be there for some sort of adjustment. Don't you think? Because they are off a bit when I bolted it back together. It's not making too much sense on how that would throw the wheels off. And when you are saying didn't happen.
How would engine/transmission position affect wheel orientation? Yes. the holes are large to allow for adjustment but, the engine/transmission does not touch any part of the steering mechanism.
Something in the steering was put back together differently from what it was before disconnection. Assuming it was right to begin with. Either the steering wheel was moved or the road wheels or the shaft was replaced off a tooth or 2.

Road wheels touch the road. I am no help, just guessing. Maybe an extra strong gnome snuck in and bent the tie rod ends. Maybe the same gnome yanked the steering wheel off an replaced it a tooth off. If everything was done perfectly it must have been that way before.
